Even as I purchased the Honda ST1100 Sport Tourer a few years earlier, I knew it was a place-holder. I’d seen photos it’s upcoming replacement in 2003, the ST1300. To me, it was stunning from every angle. All the right specs, 4 cyl, ABS, super large gas tank for the long rides, built-in luggage and fairing with electric windscreen. A friend of mine bought a 2004 model, but found it was not the bike for him, he knew who to contact first, it wasn’t long before the deal was made and I rode it home.<\/p>\n\n\n
