Fun times in Luckenbach!
<\/strong>It was a perfect early May day, with a nice breeze and not hot (100s the following week!)
Since I’m old LOL we spent extra for reserved seating, it was great, but in retrospect, our own chairs a few feet back would have been just fine. The music was fantastic from all three bands. The crowd seemed to mostly be there for Bob, some cut out before Kevin and Shinyribs. Bob’s set was great, super-duper great, and Shinyribs fun as always, with a lot of emphasis on the new record. Great night under the stars in Luckenbach with my baby, cold Shiner beer, and fine Texas music, Life is Good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lineup:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A sonic melting pot of Texas blues, New Orleans R&B-funk and horn-driven Memphis soul, Shinyribs<\/a><\/strong> is an Austin-based supergroup led by Kevin Russell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bob Schneider<\/a><\/strong> is a musician, visual artist, filmmaker, poet and podcaster from Austin, TX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caroline<\/a> <\/strong>Hale <\/strong>is originally from San Antonio, TX, but is now based in Austin. Gordy Quist (Band of Heathens) produced her debut album “BFF”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
