To do something completely different, we did a ghost tour on Wednesday night. Was it cheesy? Yes. It was still fun and still informational; the tour guide does other tours. It was a perfect evening for it too; the weather was just as nice as it could be. Small group, seven of us. At one “haunted mansion,” the owners pulled up as we were in the driveway, and they were nice enough to chat with us for quite a bit – very cool.

The next night we enjoyed some fine live music at the Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe. We had a great time, and met a lot of new friends and musicians, and several from Willis.

In between, we explored a bit, admiring the architecture and vibe of the island, and took the Ferry for ride to enjoy the beautiful weather. Thursday was the start of the Lone Star Motorcycle Rally, so it got pretty busy with bikes everywhere.

<figure class="wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-2 is-cropped
