He was family. He loved everyone and made himself comfortable even when we had guests. We could tell he was ill, it came on quickly, and it was almost like he made a point to tell each of us goodbye, and then he slipped away somewhere. It&#8217;s been a few weeks now, I&#8217;m sure he&#8217;s gone. I&#8217;ve read that&#8217;s common.
