Prep is everything &#8211; water bottles, mister\/fan, cooling neck wraps made it bearable &#8211; plus we had seats under the roof &#8211; there was only about an hour or so that the sun was kinda brutal. The music was awesome. Also with them was Aroyn Day, a cool dude that I got a chance to chat with between sets out in the merch\/concession area: <a href=\"https:\/\/aroynday.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">his website<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Margo was magnificent. She is so damn good. Perfect timing with her new topical\/political song (Blaze Foley cover), <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/Qf7JBsm18CI?si=U0JaPM4DVhFgHo2U\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Oval Room<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stephen Price &#8211; Motherfucker stole the show. I felt the audio was off, vocals were too loud, but man, what energy. Even into the audience playing. Rocked it with his new hit, &#8220;Gary&#8221;, and &#8220;I am my father&#8217;s son&#8221; gets me, great set. So solid!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wilco &#8211; OK, this is why I&#8217;m here, right? I was curious how they&#8217;d handle a short show\/set but the setlist was cool (see below) one of the highlights was the MF insane drums on Via Chicago; if you know the song &#8211; you know what I mean, but it was amped up x100, almost comical. No, it was comical, but fun. Impossible Germany was great, and the set-ending Kingpin was done in a way I&#8217;d never seen or heard before, they totally killed it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willie &amp; Family &#8211; What can you say? Willie is fucking 93. Last time I saw him was probably 35-40 years ago, I&#8217;m so glad I got to see him again; it was special, but his energy is not there. How could it be? Still an awesome set, and a great finish. Loved it.
