Excellent performance by a true Texas legend<\/u><\/a>, with an outstanding band. It was also a fundraising event for Rett Syndrome<\/u><\/a> with Dave Clements<\/u><\/a> and Kevin Black<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GPN put on a helluva fantastic show, with great storytelling in between songs, and the band was so so tight… and the venue is the best around for this kind of music. We’ve been to many shows here, and this was probably the largest crowd. The opening act was The Heels<\/u><\/a> from Canada, honestly, not my style of music, but they have truly great voices and gave their all, so it was hard not to like them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dave invited us to the show, offering free tickets – but I told him we’d already planned to go and had tickets already, add that to the cause or invite someone else. Dave had a lot of great photos on sale, with proceeds going to Rett, the choice was easy for Jana and I to agree on – and we purchased a great Dave framed photo of Tom Petty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Danville<\/u><\/a>, where I work, and Dave (and Kevin) have a great history and we were happy to be part of this wonderful night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
