Murder by Death @ Heights Theater

Hated to hear MBD were going to stop touring, but thankful Houston was a stop. We got seats early (balcony) and enjoyed the send-off: tremendous night, super-tight playing and singing. I’ve liked this band a long time, and have most of their releases, it was so great to see them live.

AJJ opened, and they were great as well. I somehow had not listened to them (even though I was familiar with the name) prior to buying tickets and seeing that they were on the bill. I’ve been catching up, and picked up their latest CD at the show.

Cheat Day: Tacos and Ice Cream before the show

Email from the band: Thank you so much for the incredible send off this year for our goodbye to touring. 25 years on the road has been an extraordinary life experience and I’m so grateful that I got to do this for a quarter century.

We felt a lot of love this year and I’m so pleased that our music has touched so many of you. Thank you for the thousands and thousands of supportive emails, letters, notes, messages and comments.

Fun Date Night. Tacos, Ice Cream, Beer, Live Music, and Jana – Life is Good!
